Now Accepting New Clients. Contact Us Today to Get Started.
Very Good Counseling therapists do not take insurance, though some insurance companies will reimburse our clients for a portion of what they pay for counseling services.
Initial Intake is the first step in the therapeutic process. We have designed a custom experience for new clients to discuss the presenting problem and share their experiences. This 55 minute session will also set up treatment going forward and which approach would be best for you.

Sometimes you need a little more, and that’s exactly what you get with these 90 minute sessions. Whether you want to bring in a family member to discuss an issue, add talk therapy to your EMDR session or have a traumatic event that requires extra time to process, an intensive therapy session can be a great way to expedite the healing.

…Because We Believe You Matter.
Each new person will need to complete a 55-minute intake assessment which we charge $165. We charge $135-150 for a 45-minute session and $215 for an 90-minute session. Most sessions are 45-55 minutes, but if agreed upon before the scheduled appointment, we can accommodate a longer session.
We do not directly bill insurance because we are not in network with any insurance company. (Check out our article on Therapy Fees!) Despite the fact that we do not accept insurance, we will still be able to provide you with a Superbill. You can take this superbill can be submitted to you insurance for possible partial to full reimbursement.
Payment is due at the time of service in the form of cash, check, HSA, FSA, or credit card payment at the time of service. Superbills are provided on a monthly basis and are accessible via the Client Portal. Once you have the Superbill you will need to submit it to your insurance to see if they will reimburse you any out-of-network benefits. Keep in mind, a diagnosis is typically needed for reimbursement. It is highly recommended to speak with your insurance company to verify if they will reimburse you if a Superbill is provided.
We accept cash, check, credit card or health savings account cards as forms of payment. Most people elect to enroll in auto pay so they don’t have to worry about the payment for their sessions and can focus on what they have come to therapy for. This can be set up when we contact you with your initial paperwork.
