Elena founded Very Good Counseling in 2021. As a therapist, she finds that specializing in EMDR therapy elevates her abilities to help individuals with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Passionate about freeing people from years of negative thoughts and destructive habits, Elena is committed to helping individuals find liberation from their past, embracing their truest selves.

Hi there! I’m so glad you found me. I provide very good individual and family counseling therapy. I wanted the name of the company to convey the quality of work clients will receive without being too braggy.

I am very good at Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with helping adults overcome their trauma and grief. I excel at helping adolescents (10+) manage anxiety and depression symptoms; especially gifted kids. I am also simply a safe place for someone to just talk; especially with kiddos who are discovering their sexuality, or feel like they can’t talk to their parents. I also have a natural knack to connect family units and enhance their communication. Kids and parents alike leave feeling heard, seen, and understood. I never push agendas on clients. Whenever they’re ready is the right time to get to work, and sometimes you need months of building that rapport to get there.
